We don’t use any animal skins or by-products to produce the bags. We love animals and we believe fashion would be even more awesome without harming any animals.

Sustainability Initiatives

Carbon Offset Shipping

On June 17, 2020, we started working with Terrapass to go Carbon Neutral and offset the carbon emissions that we have produced since day one in 2010, providing carbon offsetting shipments for all online orders at no additional cost to you.

But, we knew that it was our responsibility to do more to combat the global climate crisis. As of January 1, 2021, we took the next step and are now officially Climate Positive. This means that with every order we ship to you, we actually are creating an environmental benefit by removing additional carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. 

This continued investment in sustainability is a pledge to the long-term health of the planet, and our company.

About Terrapass

Terrapass funds these projects to destroy greenhouse gases and produce renewable energy:

• Farm power: Using animal waste to produce electricity, fertilizer, and bedding for animals

• Landfill gas capture: Converting methane emissions from landfills to renewable electricity

• Clean energy from wind power: Wind energy displaces electricity that is generated by dirty fossil fuels like gas and coal

• Abandoned coal mine methane capture: Capturing methane emissions from coal beds in abandoned mines and using them to generate electricity

Biodegradable Packaging

We have been using 100% biodegradable corn-based packaging since 2020 as a sustainable alternative to plastic.

EPE Foam

Any foam found in our packaging is EPE foam, a 100% recyclable material. This foam is used to package some of our products to protect them and to retain their shape. Please recycle your EPE foam after unwrapping your new bag!

Manufacturing

Worker & Safety Rights

To ensure the safety of all our workers and consumers, all our materials are tested to meet the CA Prop 65 standard annually. We take responsibility in upholding a safe environment for our consumers and workers through annual visits to our manufacturers to ensure standards are met. 

Here at Pixie Mood, we understand the importance of providing our customers with products that are produced in a legal and socially responsible manner. We require all manufacturers to agree and adhere to strict standards for the production of the merchandise we sell. The standards include prohibitions on child and forced labour, as well as treating workers with respect and fair wages.

We ensure:

• No Forced Labour: No use of forced labour, whether it is prison, indentured or bonded labour

• No Child Labour: No person younger than 15 years of age shall be employed

• No Harassment or Abuse: All employees shall be treated with respect and dignity. No employee shall be subjected to any physical, sexual, psychological or verbal abuse

• Health and Safety: Employers shall provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees

• Wages and Benefits: Employers shall pay employees sufficient wages to meet at minimum their basic needs

Our Products and Materials

Recycled Vegan Leather

 Made entirely of recycled vegan leather, our SS22 collection is truly one of a kind. Inspired by light and refreshing botanicals, this collection evokes serenity with its crisp, airy silhouettes that are easy to dress up or down 

Recycled Vegan Leather is a sustainable and eco-conscious material made from recycled plastic bottles. Our Recycled colorways have stopped over 285,814 plastic bottles from entering landfills, minimizing our environmental impact and helping us be kinder to the earth.

Hardware and Lining

Recycled Bottle Lining

Since SS20, 100% of our lining has been made from recycled plastic bottles. It uses 90% less water and 70% less energy to produce than the regular lining.

Our lining has diverted over 2,500,000 plastic bottles from landfills to date.

Hardware

To ensure the safety of our consumers, all our hardware is tested and compliant to the EU REACH Standard which has been adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks posed by chemicals.

Cork

All of our cork fabric is harvested from cork oak trees in rural areas throughout Portugal. When the tree has reached 20 years of age, cork is harvested in a sustainable method of removing the bark of the tree. Cork oak trees are the only trees that can have their bark removed and continue to live and grow for over 200 years.

This highly sustainable material is 100% natural, biodegradable and  can be found used in a number of our bags, such as the Nicole Pouch.

RFID-Blocking Technology

RFID Protection

Our new wallets, wristlets, and travel organizers use RFID-blocking technology to ensure your private information is kept that way. 

What is RFID?

Radiofrequency identification (RFID) card readers can steal credit and debit card information in seconds without contact, from as far as 15m away, even through purses and shopping bags. This stolen information can then be used to purchase goods or may even be sold online to others.

RFID-blocking technology blocks wireless signals from card readers so that your information cannot be detected.

Where do you ship to?

Our Canadian website offers domestic shipping anywhere in Canada. 

Our US website offers domestic shipping anywhere in US. 

You can shop for your favourite environmentally sustainable vegan leather bags on our US/International Pixie Mood site, going to one of the following countries:

International Shipping fees start at $40 USD and are reflected at checkout. Orders may be subject to taxes and customs duties.

When will my order arrive?

We always do our very best to have orders delivered as quickly as possible! Tracking information will be emailed to you directly upon shipping of your order.

On average orders are processed and packed by our team within 1-5 business days prior to shipping, once shipped we are effected by courier company delays outside of our control.

The final stage in delivery is usually within 2-10 business days dependent on courier company delays and address of delivery.

We are unable to make any delivery window guarantees at this time. As we operate climate positive our fulfillment facilities only ship domestically, meaning your order will be processed and shipped from a fulfillment facility in your country (Canada or US).

International Shipping and Duties

Delivery to Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, South Korean, Taiwan, and UK

All international orders will be shipped via USPS Priority International, shipping rates for international order will be calculated upon checkout starting from $40 USD.

Duties & Taxes 

We are only able to ship DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Orders may be subject to duties and taxes upon arrival into your country based on where you live, and customers are responsible for these fees. The limits for duty-free packages are established by your local customs authorities, please check with your local customs office or website for more information.


Shipping time


We always do our best to ensure orders are delivered as quickly as possible! 

We are affected by courier company delays outside of our control, on average international orders may take up to 3 weeks to arrive.


Please keep in mind that once a package leaves the custody of our fulfillment team it is no longer in our control. If you are experiencing any problems or delays in this shipping process please reach out to the courier company directly.

Returns

Return Eligibility
  • Wrong Item received/ Damaged upon arrival 
  • 14 days from date of receipt
  • Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, with all tags intact.
  • Return for replacement only.  In the event that the replacement colorway is out of stock, you can choose another colorway.  If the style is not available, can return for store credit.

Changed mind (due to size, color, etc) 

  • 14 days from date of receipt
  • Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, with all tags intact.
  • Last Chance items and bag straps are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned for a refund/store credit or exchanged. 
  • Sale items are eligible to be returned for store credit ONLY
  • Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotions, Boxing Week promotions and Flash Sales are final sales.
  • $15 return fee will be deducted from refund or store credit

Damaged after use 

  • 90 days from date of receipt
  • Return for replacement only.  In the event that the replacement colorway is out of stock, you can choose another colorway.  If the style is not available, can return for store credit.

Processing a return

  • RMA will be issued for return requests. 
  • RMA will be issued by an authorized Pixie Mood customer support representative once your return request is approved.
  • Any unauthorized returns (returns with no RMA) received by our returns department will be refused.
  • Please have the package shipped back to us within 14 days from date of receipt of the RMA

Once we receive your item, our team will inspect it and process your refund or exchange per eligibility.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase or as store credit, depending on approval.

For strap replacements, please reach out to us by sending an email to support@pixiemood.com.  We will do our best to find a replacement for you, so you can get back to loving your Pixie Mood bag!

Return Terms and Conditions
  • We only accept returns for products bought from our website.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable. 
  • Sale items are eligible to be returned for store credit ONLY within 14-days from the date of receipt.
  • Last Chance items and bag straps are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned for a refund/store credit or exchanged. 
  • Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotions, Boxing Week promotions and Flash Sales are final sale.
  • For hygiene reasons, the Case Mask and Mask Chains are final sale.
  • Pixie Mood does not cover tax duties for international orders. The recipient is responsible for covering any import/tax duties of their package and are not covered by Pixie Mood’s Refund policy.
  • ALL international orders are FINAL sale and are not eligible for a return & exchange.
  • If you received a FREE product, such as a sample or gift with your purchase, it must be included with your returns. Pixie Mood reserves the right to deduct the value of the gift from the refund owed to the customer if it is not included in the return to us.
  • If the purchase was made through a retailer or 3rd party website other than PIXIE MOOD, please contact the retailer directly about their return policy.
  • If you received a FREE product, such as a sample or gift with your purchase, it must be included with your return. Pixie Mood reserves the right to deduct the value of the gift from the refund owed to the customer if it is not included in the return to us
  • All merchandise eligible for return must be new, unused and in their original protective packaging with tags attached. Returns that do not meet these criteria may be accepted for store credit or deemed non-returnable and will be denied.

International Returns

If a customs and duty form is required, please declare the items as “Defective Canadian Goods Return” and a value of $0, as Pixie Mood does not accept packages that require customs duty and taxes.

We will notify you via email when the return is received. Refunds will be refunded in the original form of payment.

Once your return is received, please allow 7-10 business days for your account to be credited. All shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

Pixie Mood is not responsible for any lost or damaged packages. Please note that any returns received that do not comply with this policy will be shipped back to you.

Warranty Policy, Lost and Stolen Items
  • Our bags are all covered by a 90-day manufacturer's warranty from the date of receipt.
  • Damaged bags caused by fire, sanitizer, neglect, and/or abuse of usage are not covered by our warranty. 
  • If purchase was made through a retailer or 3rd party website other than PIXIE MOOD, please contact the retailer directly about their warranty policy.
  • Damage caused by freight and courier mishandling is not covered by Pixie Mood. However, we do our best to package the bags properly so they are delivered to you as safely as possible.
  • Lost packages during transit, misdelivered (delivered to the wrong address due to customer error), and stolen packages are not covered by Pixie Mood’s warranty policy. Customers may however opt to buy insurance upon their checkout for their packages or contact the shipping company to file a claim. 

To file for a warranty claim, kindly email support@pixiemood.com with the following information:

  • Order number
  • Name
  • Full photo of the bag showing the damages or video
  • Alternative email address
  • Details of the damage of the bag.
  • Any additional details you think are necessary for us to know to resolve this matter.

How do I file a Warranty Claim?

The first step is to reach out to our Support Team by emailing us at support@pixiemood.com with the subject line "Warranty Claim".

To better assist you, please kindly provide us with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A picture showing the problematic area(s)
  • A picture showing the front of the bag in full so we may accurately identify style and colorway
  • Description of the damage

All warranty claims must be filed through the place of purchase, if your product was purchased from a retailer we kindly recommend reaching out to the retailer directly as they may file a claim on your behalf.

I lost the strap for my Pixie Mood bag. What should I do?

Please reach out to us by sending an email to support@pixiemood.com.

To best assist you, please include the following: 

  • Your order number
  • A picture showing the entire front of the bag for style + colorway identification
  • If your strap is damaged please send a picture showing the affected area
  • Your address for delivery

We will do our best to find a replacement for you so you can get back to loving your Pixie Mood bag!

Product Care

Recycled Vegan Leather

Our vegan leather is made from polyurethane (PU). Despite our vegan leather bags being durable and waterproof, they sometimes need some TLC too!

To clean dirty areas, use a cloth and some warm, mild soapy water to gently spot clean.

For tougher spots, use a small amount of Eucalyptus oil on a clean cloth and gently spot clean, then allow your bag to air dry.

If you notice any wrinkles in the bag, do not apply heat, instead, stuff the bag and let it sit for a few days for it to regain its shape. 

When your vegan leather bag is not in use, we recommend storing it in a cool and dry place.

Cork

Naturally, cork is a durable material as it is naturally found in nature, however, cork is weatherproof – not waterproof. Cork bags can endure some weather conditions, though, once in contact with the elements, we recommend wiping down the area and air-drying as soon as possible.

To clean your cork bag, use some warm, and mild soapy water to gently spot clean. For tougher areas, Goo Gone or a disinfectant wipe can be used – followed by air drying. 

When your cork bag is not in use, properly store it in a cool and dry place, ideally in a dust bag.

Nubuck (Vegan Suede)

When cleaning your faux suede bag, use a cloth and some warm, mild soapy water to gently spot clean. Afterward, lay the bag flat and allow the bag to air-dry.

If you notice your bag becoming stiff, brushing the bag with a toothbrush or soft brush will aid the material in drying properly.

Masks and Chains

Mask Care Instructions

100% Polyester

To protect the mask during wash, place it in a mesh laundry bag.

Machine wash with cold water.

Wash with like colors and fabrics only.

Hang to dry.

Iron on low heat.

Chain Care Instructions

Brass Chains

To clean your chain, use a mild soap with warm or cool water.

Acrylic Chains

To clean your chain, use a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap with warm or cool water.

General Care

When receiving your bag, on occasion the bag may have a scent from the manufacturing process. If this happens to occur, we recommend placing a dryer sheet into the bag and giving it some time to absorb any odours. 

Alternatively, placing the bag outside for a few days – weather permitting – will also have the same effect. Finally, we do not recommend spraying odour eliminators or fragrance sprays inside or outside the bag as it may ruin the purse.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we are dedicated to sourcing the most innovative and eco-friendly materials for our products, and to offset the environmental effects of manufacturing our products. 

Be aware that the red dye used in the lining of select products may transfer to lighter colors and textiles.

When receiving the product we kindly recommend wiping the lining with mild soap and water and then allowing the bag to air dry prior to use.

How do I change, edit or add items to my order?

We're happy to hear you want to add to your Pixie Mood collection! 

To add or change an item on your order please reach out to us at support@pixiemood.com with the following: 

  • Your order number
  • The full style name + colorway of the product you would like

If you are changing an item on the existing order please clarify which style name + colorway you would like to adjust/switch.

Kindly Note: Once an order has shipped we are unable to make any changes or adjustments. To exchange your order please see our Return Steps article and select the "Store Credit" return method.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept the following forms of payment on our website:

  • Mastercard
  • Visa
  • American Express
  • Paypal

We cannot accept payment information through email or over the phone at this time.

There is an item or promotional product missing from my order

If there is an item or promotional product missing from your order please reach out to us as soon as possible by clicking the Support icon at the bottom right of the page or email us at support@pixiemood.com 

Please include the following: 

  • Your order number
  • A picture of the packing slip that was included in your order

Kindly note we may complete your order in separate shipments to ensure your Pixie Mood products are delivered to you as quickly as possible. 

If this is the case our Support Team will provide the tracking information for each shipment.

The Pixie Mood product that caught my eye is currently out of stock, will it be restocked?

Our team updates the inventory on both the Canada and US/International website as frequently and quickly as possible. We always do our best to ensure everything we have is available online however often sell out of styles and colorways with each season. 

If something catches your eye we recommend placing an order as soon as possible, we are unable to hold of reserve stock. If you would like to check the restock status of an item please reach out to us by clicking the Support icon on the bottom right or emailing us at support@pixiemood.com 

Please note as we operate climate positive we are unable to offer cross-border shipping. 

Orders may only be placed with the stock available on the website of your shipping location.

How do I cancel my order?

To cancel your order, please log into your account, navigate to “Orders” and select “Send Cancel Request”.

If you did not check out with a registered account, please reach out to us as soon as possible by clicking the Support icon at the bottom right of the page, selecting "I need to update or cancel an order” and providing the requested information. 

We can also be reached by email at support@pixiemood.com with your order number and state “Cancellation Request" in the subject line.

We will review your request and do our best to cancel your order prior to shipping.

Please note that if your order has been shipped, we are unable to refund shipping costs and request you follow the Return Steps.

Can I get a price adjustment?

Price adjustments are permitted only when an item has been marked down on our website within a week of purchase.

For price adjustments, please reach out to us by clicking the Support icon at the bottom right of the page, clicking the "Contact Us" link at the top of the page or by email at support@pixiemood.com 

Please include the following: 

  • Your order number 
  • The product you are requesting the adjustment on

Items where price adjustments have been made, will be final sale and cannot be returned/exchanged.

Please note that price adjustments will not be made for Flash Sales, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Boxing day.

As each retailer is an individual business, we also do not do price matching for retailer partners.  If you would like a price adjustment for a product purchased from a local retailer, please reach out to them directly.

Technical Support and Errors

What does "Invalid Postal Code" mean?

For the security of our customers billing addresses upon check out must match the billing address the method of payment has been registered under.

We kindly recommend double-checking the postal code of your billing address to ensure it matches the preferred method of payment. 

If you are unsure of which billing address you should use, please reach out to your credit card company or banking establishment directly.

My order says "Failed Payment". Was my credit card charged?

We kindly recommend double-checking the postal code of your billing address to ensure it matches the preferred method of payment. 

When payment has failed, no payment has been received and the order is automatically cancelled.


There may be a pending charge, the pending charge will not be processed and will be removed from your statement automatically, typically within a business day or two.  

Where do I enter my discount code?

Discount codes may be entered in the order summary after selecting "Proceed To Checkout". 

Simply enter the discount code you wish to apply while inputting your order information.
